Salvation of Body, Soul and Spirit

In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.(1 Peter 1:6-9)

Every men have three parts; body, soul & spirit. God created man in his own image & give his spirit to fellowship with him. Due to sin, our spirit was in dead stage & no relationship with God. Once we receive Jesus christ in our hearts, our spirit is active & he controls our life with his spirit [Holy spirit] dwells inside of us. Salvation of our spirit is complete, the moment we receive Jesus christ.

That you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.(Ephesians 4:22-24)

Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man [body] is perishing, yet the inward man [soul] is being renewed day by day.(2 Corinthians 4:16)

Our mind is located in our soul. Our mind needs to renew day by day to the fullness & likeness of Jesus christ. Salvation of soul (mind) is not complete. When Jesus christ returns (Rapture of church), he redeemed our souls & present body transformed into heavenly body.

Abstain from every form of evil. Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it. (1 Thessalonians 5:22-24)

Through Christ, we are made new creations in the likeness of God (2 Corinthians 5:17)

"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God." (Romans 8:14)
